Ghana.is is built on trust. Every listing, review, and interaction on the platform is moderated to ensure accuracy, authenticity, and respect. Our moderation team reviews new listings, claims, reviews, reports, and ad campaigns before they go live or after they are flagged.

• All new business listings are reviewed by our team before publication
• Listings must represent real, operating businesses with accurate contact information
• Duplicate, fake, or misleading listings are removed
• Listings with outdated or incorrect information may be flagged for update

Businesses can request verification to earn trust badges on their profile. Verification involves confirming ownership or authorized representation. Verified businesses display badges that help customers identify trustworthy listings. We also use a trust score system that considers factors like claim status, verification, reviews, contact completeness, and profile freshness.

• All reviews are checked before they appear publicly
• Reviews must be based on genuine customer experience
• Spam, abusive, or fake reviews are rejected
• Business owners can respond to reviews

Anyone can report a listing they believe violates our guidelines. Reports can be submitted anonymously or with a contact email. Our moderation team reviews each report and takes appropriate action. No automatic business suspension occurs from reports alone — all actions are reviewed by a human moderator.

• Do not submit false or misleading information
• Do not attempt to manipulate ratings, reviews, or search rankings
• Report problematic content rather than engaging
